MGO Adds Expert Tax Partner to SoCal Team
SACRAMENTO, CA (February 27, 2008) – Thomas J. Forbes, CPA, MST has been admitted to the Partnership of Macias Gini & O’Connell LLP (MGO), a leading certified public accounting and consulting firm with offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area.
Thomas has more than 20 years of accounting and consulting experience and brings a track record of leadership and mentorship of others. His expertise is primarily in tax planning and compliance, including managing sophisticated tax savings projects. He has helped clients achieve significant tax savings in a wide variety of industries and markets including banking, real estate, financial services and aerospace and defense.
Thomas brings a “big-four” background at Deloitte LLP and PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, having served at those firms for nearly twenty years. In addition to his work as a public accountant, Thomas has served as a tax consultant and a real estate consultant.
